1. Creamy Vegan Pumpkin Pie with Maca
A delicious, creamy vegan version of the classic pumpkin pie, enriched with the health benefits of Maca.
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups cooked pumpkin or pumpkin puree
- 1 cup soaked cashews (soak for 4 hours or overnight)
- 1/4 cup maple syrup or agave nectar
- 1 tbsp Maca powder
- 1 tbsp coconut oil, melted
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ginger powder
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 premade vegan pie crust or gluten-free crust
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a blender, combine the pumpkin puree, soaked cashews, maple syrup, Maca powder, coconut oil, spices, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Pour the filling into the vegan pie crust.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is lightly browned.

Instructions:

- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, Maca powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk the coconut oil, maple syrup, eggs, vanilla extract, and almond milk together.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Gently fold in the blueberries.
- Divide the batter evenly between the muffin cups and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

4. Maca Shampoo and Lotion

Maca Shampoo Recipe: Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup liquid castile soap
- 1 tbsp Maca powder
- 1 tsp coconut oil (optional)
- 1/2 tsp lavender or tea tree essential oil (optional)
Instructions:
- In a small bottle, combine the liquid castile soap, Maca powder, and coconut oil.
- Shake gently to mix. You may need to shake the bottle each time you use it, as the Maca powder may settle.
- Use as a regular shampoo. The Maca powder can help promote scalp health and stimulate hair growth.
Maca Lotion Recipe: Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup shea butter
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1 tbsp Maca powder
- 1 tsp vitamin E oil
- 10-15 drops essential oil of your choice (lavender, peppermint, etc.)
Instructions:
- In a double boiler, melt the shea butter and coconut oil together.
- Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the Maca powder, vitamin E oil, and essential oils.
- Let the mixture cool and solidify slightly.
- Transfer to a jar and apply as a rich moisturizer to your skin.
